Lineage on every figure

Deterministic engine

Interview questions.

Is my data safe?

Ari reads your ledger, banking, and payroll and never writes back to them, so nothing it does edits a record in a system you already run. It works inside cfo.ai instead: building the model, pricing scenarios, drafting the pack. Every change it makes there lands in a changelog and can be rolled back, every figure carries the chain that produced it, and anything meant to leave cfo.ai waits for you to release it.

Can it write to anything?

Not to your systems. Ingestion is read-only, and nothing writes back to your ledger or your bank. Inside the model it works under the same permission engine as any teammate: every change lands in an atomic changelog and is one step from undone. Anything that leaves the model, an email, a call to an external tool, needs approval first.

What happens when it is wrong?

You can see where. The math runs on GraphCalc, a deterministic engine, not a language model, so the same inputs produce the same figure every time. Every figure traces back to its formula inputs and source rows, which means a wrong number leads you to the input that made it wrong. And a figure it cannot verify is named as unverified and stays unsigned.

Can I put these numbers in front of my board?

Yes. The board pack is prepared from the same model you work in every day, so it is checkable line by line: open any figure and follow it to its formula inputs and source rows. What the board sees is what you can verify yourself.

Does this replace my accountant or fractional CFO?

It does not close your books; your accountant still does that. Ari is the sense-making layer on top of the closed numbers: always on, in your tools, with its work in writing. Whether it sits beside a fractional CFO or in place of one is your call.
